Microsoft Exam

Car  Fiesta ST
Got my first Microsoft exam on Friday - 70-270 one of many on my way to MCSA then on to MSCE.

Anyone taken it? piece of cake? Course was pretty easy to be honest.

Longy,

They are easy provided you have put the work in and accept that you have to do things the Microsoft way and not that way you do things at work!
Just treat it as a learning experience and relax, you will be fine!

Rich :)

Yeah i've noticed Microsoft have there way of doing things :( Also did some sample questions and they do like to catch you out rather than test you :)

Do not rely on the practice questions alone, the real exams questions will be much much harder! Some of their questions are slightly confusing to say the least!

I have to admit I am actually a Unix Solaris engineer and dont paticually like windows :P

i got my CCNA in 4 months! ages yet?! :p any1 know if its hard :P

again as long as you put the work in. Need the Cisco books. 70% pass rate I think. I'm looking into doing it this year so you can tell me!

well atm im doing the online exams bit just got on to CCNA 3, so far its be quite easy with too not much input just read through the materail on the cisco netcad site when i login :p

Have you taught yourself for the MCSA? just by reading books or taking courses?

College course - work release me for about 1 week a month- its a OCR course for IT support (3 big assignments) and includes MCSA, MCDST and then MCSE - all funded for.

720 is the easiest one of the MCSA lot imo.

Chances are if you work in IT you'll breeze through it, but do plenty of practice questions.

Passed :)

just got 70-271 and 70-272 to do for the desktop support technician next Friday then its onto the server ones.

Well done..

I must be wrong but I thought you got a MCSE before you got to MCSA level ?

My course is for MCSA and because of the exams i do - it will make it eaiser for me to get the MCSE afterwards so must be the case.
