Mirror Caps And Headlight Lenses - Easy Removal?

Im looking to paint my mirror caps, and wondered if they were relatively easy to remove? Just clipped on?

Also, the lenses on my headlights (xenons) have gone a kind of distressed murky dirty kind of colour, which won't wash off or anything, the plastic has really deteriated. So, i wondered if i aquired a set of standard headlights, could i swap the plastic lenses over? Heat gun and stanley knife?

Ye they are just clipped on, bend the mirror inwards then pop around from the inside part were it bends, use a butter knife and some cloth, should be off in a jiffy

as said mirror caps are easy to remove using the method above

and also as above, i would reccomend correcting the headlights by hand. think there is a guide on here.

Oh forgot to say, i used this method on my GF's car after she had a slight accident, and scratched the headlights and they looked new after.

Just buy the correct materials and take your time. Job done!
