mk 1 clio 16v not driving please help

well my cars in a bit of poorly ness at the mo it will go into all gears the clutch feels fine the drive shafts are new but when u let the clutch out it will not move when i rev it the speedo goes up when in gear
can any one please help its a 1992 clio 2.016v williams conversion has been fine for ages just stopped last night

please help guys

The circlip that holds the diff in has popped out, you will find it on the N/S of the gearbox.
