Got some more bits done this weekend in between work. First job was to fit new aerocatches to the bonnet, when i first fitted them I bought some cheap ebay knock offs and you get what you pay for! So we fitted some genuine ones that feel 10 times stronger and are a much more complete piece of kit. While the bonnet was off it also got some weight chopped out of it as its on and off quite a bit.

The tailgate was also stripped of its loom as the car has no central locking or rear wiper so that was redundant, the only thing left in the tailgate is the latch and lock so its very light. We have some spare pins so may look at pinning it and cutting out the inner skin.
More weight could come off that 😅

Then we got started on the main job for the weekend which was moving the various switches around the dash into the centre and trimming the looms of any excess wire. Was a pretty straight forward job with just some extending of wires needed to get power back to the window motors.
Drivers door loom plug reversed and stored in a speaker recess.
