MK1 Engine Type Question

  Saab 93 Aero Wagon
Can anyone confirm for me which engine type the late 1996 MK1 Clio 1.2's ran?
Is it the D7F?

I only ask because my brothers Mk1 1.2 Oasis needs an oil and filter change but has no books for it so im unsure as to how much oil it takes.
It looks to be nearly identical engine-wise to my old early MK2 1.2 RN which i have a Haynes manual for, so if so its 3.7 litres...just need someone to confirm its a D7F!

Thank you please..

^^^ I think edde was meaning the distick. Some clios that year came with the 1.2 energy as well i think, but if it looks the same as the one that was in your mk2 then it will be the d7f as mentioned.

  None
If the airfilter is like a cone and at the back of the engine bay its a d7f. If its a mk1 ph3 then it probably is. If your brother is after manifold and cams let me know ;)
