Mk1-RS-172 ECU, is it EPROM compatible?

just came across to this, shortly this site says 12 HP gain

184 HP net power

There are also two instructions given

It says the ECU shown in the link is Eprom upgrade-compatible.

The one given below cannot be modified at the moment with this EPROM

When it comes to the Mk1-172 RS's ECU (CBOM's). Can anybody who is familiar with the ECU's tell me which one is the CBOM's ECU between this two?

the eeprom is not replaceable on the 172. the guide shown is for williams and valver ECU's
the ECU on a 172 can be flashed but the equipment to do it is quite expensive
