So I had a bit more of a play with the car this afternoon and sorted a few bits out. All in it's an amazing car!
I love the attention it gets too, had 3 people in the petrol station tell me how good it looks which is always nice.

It seems better on fuel than the M3 by a good way, and it certainly much faster mid range.

Also moved the garage around to make a bit of room for it, will see how long it lasts putting it in everynight!

It dwarves the Jag completely!


First plans are:

New centre caps
Polish exhaust
Seat covers
Kill the tyres and get some good ones fitted
Hopefully a little more power when I get more used to it and a few other little toys as and when

Then maybe some cosmetics.

i saw a 1.6 focus lx last night with ricer wheels and an RS spoiler driven by some Asian bloke. I almost wet myself at the sight of it haha

I don't mind the black bonnet vents, some people say they're chav but it's hardly a subtle car in the first place!

If you fancy going back to silver wheels, have a look on RSOC at the "Hyper silver" a few guys on there have had their wheels re-done in. It's a very bright, almost diamond cut looking silver, I quite like it. Although if I owned yours I don't think I'd bother getting rid of the black bits.

Don't like the black vents , roof and wheels etc. these just are too in your face for me, nicer in blue IMO . They sound epic with a stainless system though

Downsides? I don't think there is to be honest. Maybe initial speed off the line but other than that I think it's literally better in most ways that matter to the normal person.

Cosmetic wise I'm happy with it so far, the black all ties together quite well so will sort a few other bits first.

Are the seats black leather with black alcantara? If so it's an optional extra, known as RS Dynamica trim. Standard seats in a white RS are black leather with blue cloth and grey alcantara.

Had a bit of a mess around with it today, kitted the boot out with a boot liner etc. Tried to sort my ipod out in it but ended up going with a memory stick for now.
Slowly getting a list of little bits and bobs I want to buy for it so will probably treat myself a bit over christmas!

Had an aftermarket exhaust for starters so most likely had some work done to it!

I did slightly pull on him after silly speeds but only talking feet here!

Painting those rims white is suicide. They're already difficult enough to keep clean.

Anthracite is the best compromise. You still get the look, but you can actually see the wheels, and you don't have to stop every hundred yards to clean them with a cotton bud.
