Quick iPhone doodle :p

Would you recommend the above type with longer bolts or the bolt to hub type?
If you recommend the bolt to hub type what is the thread size?

The reason I'm asking this is we have a few blocks of aluminium at work that aren't being used, so I've got my eye on them to make some spacers.

Cheers :)

my plan is to model it properly and get the stress guy at work to tell me if theyll be ok to use on my car (wont shear off and kill me)

I have some 25mm hubcentric ones for sale. Then I realised you didn't want to buy any. And mine wouldn't fit your car anyway. Double fail lol.

If your making from aluminium id certainly make the design that uses longer wheel bolts, bit dodgy (imo) having the bolts screw into the alloy and holding the wheels on.

Theres no extra stress if the bolts are tight i wouldnt think, and yes they may be made from alloy but do you know the grade/type.
