Mobile phone mount and App advice please

I have just bought a new Samsung phone and would like to use it to video/time my laps on a track day. The track day organisers dictate that the phone is securely mounted and suction mounts are not allowed. How do you mount yours and is there a proprietary mount available?

Secondly can anyone recommend a suitable Android gps based app for timing which stores lap times and speed around the circuit for later analysis please? Would you recommend an external gps aerial?

Look for Brodit mounts, fairly expensive but excellent quality and can have power hardwired in.
