building my own PC up..the onboard graphics on this are fairly decent, has this made them sacrifice elsewhere?

Yeah what will happen is your main system memory the RAM will be used for the video memory. So if the onboard solution is 64mb by by 64mb of main system ram, will also take a little for sound as well.

To be honest its worth buying a fairly mid range graphics card might put the system up a bit in price but it will run better as a whole system not just in games.

Onboard graphics are fine - unless you want to do any gaming or anything.

The onboard graphics on that are far from fairly decent. If you're simply going to use the PC as a home office tool then fine but for anything else then don't even consider it.

^agreed the 6150 is slower than the slowest card nvidia make. Plus it also uses main system ram bottlenecking it even more etc. A cheap £30 card would probably be a better solution.

Guess i'll have to splash the cash on better components

All recommendations welcome..£100 tops for vid card tho, not really building the system for the latest and greatest games.
