Mod Ideas please

For my williams, sounds system done, interior done, lowered to 35m will new suspension kit, full new brakes (ebc green stuff), pipercross induction kit, scorpian exaust full system.
next i though would be ecu chip.

You should be able to get a decat pipe from scorpion. Just had a look on www.potn.co.uk and you can get one from 72.99 for your car. I have a decat on my car and it has been through the MOT successfully with it on, or you could get your garage to put your cat back on for the MOT.

Mine wont go through without the CAT on(Unless U bribe the Tester) Its an 'M' Reg.
If you want speed mods,ive honestly found the best mod has been taking the rear seats and spare wheel+carrier out lol

How come?

There is no check to see whether a vehicle has a cat fitted or not?

The only related check is the emmisions test which is stricter from n reg onwards.

The limits are fairly lenient on m reg and earlier, which is why you can pass them with a de-cat on.

I know of a number of car with decat which have passed MOT's they should have one fitted I'm not 100% sure they have to have one fitted to pass though so long as emmisiosn are within tolerance most cars won't as there not remapped to account for the decat.

all cars after 91 or 92 have a cat as standard, and by law have to be sold with one iirc. you can take them off and use a decat, if it passes it passes, if not, put the cat back on...

as for mods, my next one personally would be a standard airbox and panel filter... then as U33db said cams. Then get a remap (remap, not just off the shelf job, makes a big difference)

as 4 lowerin mido, i think u can only drop a williams 35mill at most because of the wide track, so iv been told anyway

i got my valver dropped 40mm sitting on 16's and front and back bumper extended so it lokks slammed mo fo.
