Hi

I was just wondering if anyone has / is going to modify their 182 in the near future? The only thing Im planning for now is an induction kit. If anyone has already completed this modification could I have feedback please? Is it wise fitting such a kit when the car is practically new? Im not particularly after power increase as such, I just want the noise that my Williams has :D to turn heads. Its currently got a HillPower induction kit on (the blue bucket jobbie) Ive tried looking on the HillPower website for their 172/182 IKs but it doesnt appear to be working tonight. Apparently theyre pretty loud and give a decent power increase. Its either that or the Pipercross Viper. Decisions...

Heard good things about the Hillpower one, considering that myself for my 172. Tomclio182 has a BMC CDA on his I believe. PM him...

Coolio bud.

I think the Hillpower one is the choice Ill make. The BMC CDA sounds interesting though. Ill do a search and see what I can find then PM Tom.

Cheers :)

Just finished fitting it properly with the hill power silicone elbow

been out for a drive and my inlet manifold is STONE cold. and i have a noticeable mid range gain. and if i want pedestrian scaring noise i simply remove the cold air feed and Wammo! the loudest roar in the world.

lol. Quality. I sent u a PM. I need one of these kits now but dont really understand all the removing cold air feed jibe etc as I havent seen one of these kits in the flesh as it were. Easily done and is it easy to replace the orginal set up for servicing etc?

Yup, just like mine with the Viper...

They really DO work!

if u want huge noise u need a stainless steel filter. will make much more noise than a bmc without the cold air feed, but wont help with heat soak
