Modified car Insurance companies, any I haven't thought of?

Car  172 Race Car
Going to ring around in a mo for some quotes. need to insure the car at the end of the month.

I was with HIC last year inc track cover and tbh it wasnt that cheap

I wont be having track cover this year.

So my list to ring is...

HIC
Adrian Flux
Greenlight

Anymore i should try?

ive heard brentacre are reasonable

who did you get your insurance with for they hybrid?

brentacre do offer good quotes, but flux are so far beating them for me when renewal is up in couple of months.

chris knott also used to advertise on here not sure why they dont anymore?!

ha, im just starting to get cheaper insurance at 20!

on hold with hic at the moment.

Brentacre £469.95 without track cover and with 190bhp limit.

Anymore mods i do are a NO COST add on. Cage, 4 pots etc all free

HIC just matched Flux's quote, at £623. Im 20, 172 2ncb.

But if HIC do track day insurance free im more swayed to go towards them!

HIC just told me all cosmetic ones ie buckets, stripped interior are free, but bhp increased ones do cost.

How did you get on with HIC for adding mods?

By the way I'm with Brentace at the moment - no hassle with adding mods at all.

Same offer as me (Mine was 180bhp) And a Quote of £480, Im 28 with 5Yrs NCD

Only Thing that Puts me off HIC Is Stunty on here was insured with them on his old car that got written off through No fault of his and he had so much trouble getting paid out by them to the extent he complained to the FSA about them

i went through adrian flux and got a policy from NIG - £750 3years NCD + 3 points, 21 years young. pretty good tbh.

Try Bell - also allow you to list your mods online and get a quote, they where cheaper than the likes of Flux, Chris Knott etc

Bell offered me a price that was higher than Admiral and Flux.

So i eventually went with Flux - although i hope i don't have to make a claim!

Flux beat every quote I got by a huge amount..

21yo

3yr NCB

6 points

1 accident (none fault)

all mods coilovers, brakes, exhaust, engine etc.. most future mods, cage and more engine work will cost near nothing extra!

£690 Fully comp

Happy days

you got a good deal there!

How many companies can beat Greenlight for trackday cover??

HIC couldn't.

tbh adrain flux dealt with my non fault accident really quickly just waiting on 300 quid out of 1800 off them as direct line tried getting away with it but they have it all sorted within 2 months, im still waiting to this day for a crashes (non fault again, women drivers) i had on 3rd september 2007 and december 2007
