More Clio RenaultSport 3 III Spy shots

I won't judge the car until I have driven it. But all I can say is that doesn't really look "hardcore" enough whereas the previous model did.

I don't like the way it looks in particular but looks aren't everything .Its down to how it drives aswell. If the reviews are good then i am sure many of us will change our opinion of the car and want to get behind the wheel and buy one

I think from a looks department, the clio 'got soft'.
Sounds to me like the elements that made the 182 so raw have been misinterpreted by renault as a bad thing!

I don't get it, firstly it looks absolutely nothing like a Micra, and to say it looks too plain is madness. Look at a black 172/182 and a black 1.2 and the colour makes it hard to tell them apart. RenaultSport Clios have always been subtle. It's got more bodywork changes than the 172/182 had over the rest of the range, though not so obvious as the 16v/Williams.

From a design perspective, it's the proportions that let it down.
It's why the wheels look small when they are in fact 17" now. Can anyone confirm whether the 197 is taller than the 182?

I really like it. I was thinking that I would never get another Reno because my Clio has had so many problems, but this one is turning me around. What do you reckon the quality will be like in this one? Is the engine all new, or a souped up build of the current model's?

I like it, it dont think it will be that long before some people who "hate" it, will rave about it and probably buy it, i would, in black or blue, but id have to change the wheels, wait for a cupped/trophy edition

The xenons are optional on the new RS, think it has projector style headlights as standard.
