Most satisfying moment in your clio?

For mine in this clio I'd say the last time I went to Santa pod had loads of good runs....

Ive not had any offers at the lights yet so I would say my best moment was the first time I nailed it in second and felt that kick at 5000...such a smile on my coupon that day.

5k kick for the first time no question.

Second best was leaving my mates 1.4 Escort two miles behind when we went out for a little blast for the first time in the 172.

I love it when my boyfriend is following behind me in his 1.2 clio, and we go up a sliproad and I stick it in 2nd and he disappears in my rear view mirror! Hehe..

Having an 8 mile B road blast with an FRS and a LCR and not losing any ground whatsoever. I was actually pushihg the FRS at some points :D

The Clios ability to punch above it's weight has always been the appeal for me.

Pursuing a Caterham R300 and VX220 Turbo cross country all the way to Brighton and back (>50 miles each way). The Cup got the thrashing of its life but more than held its own. Loved it

I was addictied to 3 wheeling I don't think thats possible now I sold my CUP:(

you can, if you buy one of these

in racing blue too ;)

i thought you'd have one with the stripes lad?

;)

When I reached 50mpg on the M4 going to Wales....:)

and wasting a 316i Baby Beemer around Brighton one way system (well I do drive a 1.2 16V):rasp: :D

Best moment would have to be just after getting it and having to drive for 3 hours up the road with the new toy.

Had some one on my tail with some washer jets in neon – very chav.
Put the foot down and enjoyed it immensely when I saw a wee dot at in the rear view mirror. :approve:
All guid

seeing the look on my ex boyfriends face when i flew past him in his shed of a GTI6 last sunday night!

When I sold it, lol.

No really would have been when I was in the car with the now ex and we pulled past an XK8 up a hill, he was not happy, ex was laughing her head off at the bloke.

Ahhh good times, ha

when I hit 150 and the rev limiter in the old shed racing a scooby doo!! It was new and had warranty so f**k it.

Getting it back from the garage without any wheelbearing noise :-)
Oh and putting my foot down when I first got hold of it, knew then I had made a good decision.

Keeping up with a C5 Corvette around the Peak District. Only because the traction control kept cutting the power so he couldn't get away! I was bloody shocking he was trying though, I thought he would have destroyed me.

When we stopped he told me that I would miss it when I got rid.

driving down to Le Mans. Overtaking on the wrong side of the road for agess, trying to keep up, and failing miserably, with Radicals/Ferraris etc.

racing a integra type r down a motorway sliproad and expecting to be blown away past 60mph when in fact i was pulling on him, even had exhaust. The guys face was a peach.Va VA Voom.

Blowin' past a chavved up corsa full of w*****s, or the first time you see a cup and think f**k me i'd kill to have a go in that!"

RenaultSport Trackday at Brands Hatch... in the pissing rain going into paddock hill bend sideways.

that day was so much fun, i remember it well :approve:

^ sounds like an incident I had .. lol

My most satisfying moment would have to be not hearing any rattles .. piece of french s**t .. lol

or possibly when it tried to run off a cliff on the peaks run ..

Well its not in my clio but doing my mate in 3rd rates pretty highly, Razzing past chavved corsas with 5 people in, pah, daily occurence

best moment sort of was in my old 172 after hitting water on the M4, 400 odd deg spin at 60-70 mph, did,nt hit anything thank god. satisfied i did not bend the car lol

When I sold it, lol.

Whats so memorable about that? He obviously wouldn't have been trying if it was a simple smooth road.

1) realising that a williams stands up rather well to a high speed crash

thats after rolling it five times 2 nose tail 3 side to side happened just over a year ago now

2) having the b****cks after that to buy another one which is still in one piece (kinda).

Satisfying moment theif... ;)

Either that, or every time ive gone for a blat, and its felt just right, and made me smile from ear to ear :)

Going to work tonight actually.

Don't know the atmospheric pressure lol but it felt so responsive and torquey everywhere, I must of nailed around 40-50 heel toe changes spot on and made progress through the traffic so smooth and quick. Felt great getting to work. Wanted to drive for around 100 more miles though lol :(

All time ever, god thats a toughie........ Conveying with another 182, had the handsfreee on nattered for the 120odd mile drive, overtaking each other occasionally. Stopped and took pictures at a service station.........not a fast drive but it stands out in my head as so rememberable, sigh lol :( I was so happy that day :)

Chasing a M3 for around 20 miles to the sandbanks ferry, stopping and chatting to the guy(total random lol) then getting off the ferry and continued the blat through corfe right into the army roads and onto lulworth cove. That was 1-2 hours that I will never forget, :)

It would'nt have been the same without you in my mirrors old chap ;)

Getting the train home and picking the keys up the day I passed my test.

Then that going out for the first time on the roads on your own feeling.
