Not like them/it? I think it looks quite good.

On a serious note what sort of money are you hoping for it? I get that you won't end early etc, but just after an idea.

and on a complete off topic note, did you ever get a reply from your guy at trading standards about cars that have been previously written off? I'm not sure if you remember the thread a while ago.

It owes me just short of £500. I've been offered £700 today by a man that came to see it so if it goes for less than that I could end up with egg on my face! lol.

I'll pm you now.

Gotta ask Dan why aren't you just bunging another turbo on it and selling it for a half decent amount?

Because since owning it we have removed the turbo and manifold twice to replace various other bits.

Removing it for a third time is not what I want to do. Its not difficult but its fiddly and I have completely ran out of enthusiasm.

And all that dicking around to earn an extra £500 is pretty pointless when a turbo will cost me £150 and its another whole day of my life wasted!

The Mr2/clio's/Focus ST's etc are all a bit of fun for me and my mate, its nothing to do with the garage its a hobby. When it gets irritating/goes wrong it takes a huge shine off our hobby so needs to be removed from our lives asap! lol.

Someone came to see it earlier in the week and offered me strong money for it, i'm praying that it makes over that or I will look like a bellend.

You are not far off what it stands you in at now. Given the time left and your 200 watchers its looking likely you will better your £700 offer.

Just got to hope they actually turn up then though!

£700 outside of eBay there and then with no hassle might have been a better bet than £800 on eBay (by the time you remove fees and any hassle like non payers) I would say you need £800+ for it to be a better deal that the £700 you have been offered.

I've got two people coming to view it tomorrow.

One American guy who is here on holiday with a view to moving here permenantly and wants a track car project, One is driving for 4 hours in his camper van with a trailer. If he likes it he's going to stay over night try and win the auction on sunday, load up and drive home.

This is the strangest auction I've ever listed. Bringing all sorts of weird and wonderful people!

Lolz at camper van man.

It is amazing how much buying cars has changed in the last 10 years though. I've had people come from the furthest reaches of earth to pick up a £500 peugeot diesel thats fcuked.
In fact one guy 'Cedric' couldn't speak any english, came from Southampton to Doncaster, got on the wrong train and I had to go and bail him out in a remote village in North Yorkshire.

Gone are the days of the local autotrader and inkies. I bought the trader the other day and it was complete shat.

Is the guy with the camper sat outside your house drinking tea and eating bacon sarnies?

Im guessing £780 final bid.

I'm tempted to keep it and strap that tyranical cnut to the passenger seat and push it in the Bristol channel. I don't need £780 and I don't need him so its win win all round!

In all seriousness though, we were aiming to get £450 for it so whatever it goes for now is all a bonus. I never knew these cars were so popular, my phone has been flat out today!

Christ, I nearly fell off my chair! £745! LOL!!

The bonus is, that the guy who's been to see it and wants it was the second highest bidder. So if the winner pisses me about or doesn't collect within 4 days, I'll just sell it to the guy thats already seen it.
