Can see that it sells on average of £72-79 elsewhere.

generally with ICE you get what you pay for, and for £40 you certainly won't get quality

What should I really be looking at, with a budget of around £250. Maybe strech the £300 if needed...

Current set-up is nothing special...

Alpine CDA-9812RB, and 2 sets of 2 Fli-5 '5 inch Coax (13cm)' speakers... (2 in front doors, either side. Plus 2 in either side of the rear cards)

So I want to add some base, plus I want the front speakers to run off Amp, while the rears can run off the H/U

I have no experience of them myself but apparently mutant component speakers came top of a review out of all the top brands my friend was tellin me! If I find any literature I'll let ya'll know!

listen to those who have heard the equipment, they know what they are talking about, magazines etc write reviews on what they are given for free
