My 1.4 from start to current (not finished) NOW SOLD

Car  Megane 225 F1
Well ive had my clio nearly a year now. I think it was 1st few days of december last year. I haved enjoyed driving it every day. Never been in it and not liked it :D

Anyway here it is when i got it. (excuse phone pics, the quality does get better though time i promise ;))

I then got a sport grill and got veinAst off here to paint my diamond white (this is where the black and white obsesion started)

I then got hold of a rear clio badge in white and got someone to paint my bullets white with black lettering.

A few months went past as i was saving for some new wheels. I then decided to take the black and white theme to the extreme and got white turinis :D

(yes it was a 4x4)

I then got some ebaich sportlines and Alibailey off here kindly fitted them for me.

Here are some pics my mate took with his DSLR when we were bored one day.

I then got hold of a simota induction kit and fitted it with R1XPH. We took of the idle valve (i think that was what it was) to get the old air box out and forgot to plug it back in. When i turned it on the car reved right up and we shat bricks..oppps

Me and R1XPH then took a trip to cardiff to meet a friendly chap called charlie and him and his team very kindly fitted me with a catback stainless steal recessed exhaust. I love it and recomend Prospeed to anyone.

I also bought some FK LED lights off of Luke. as they didnt look right on his LY but they look ace on my Black.

I then got some Cobra Daytonna seats fitted. 4 hour journey each way to pick them up when it really should have only taken 3 (damn M25 traffic)

So R1XPH very kindly fitted them for me (Over the period of a few days as we didnt have a bolt to bolt the pretensioner to the new seats, so i spent a few days driving round with just one seat lol) Most say the blue doesnt go but i really like it and they were a bargain.

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

looks nice

how much will you be selling it for in Jan? just randomly

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Cheers :D

Um well i honestly dont know. Going by whats on autotrader etc i will be selling it for around £3700 without the wheels, seats, induction kit and standard suspension. Not sure how much with it all on but tbh i wanna get as much money as i can so will prob sell mods seperatly except for the exhaust which i shall leave on

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

great work buddy that is a sweet looking non sport

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Nice dude. Black and white theme looks sweet.
I love the exhaust and how it looks on that.

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Will you sell the seats when you sell the car?

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Close up the exhaust looks pissed because the bumper is a weird shape but
from afar it looks amazin. I love it.

Yh i will be selling the seats when i sell. Probs around the 350 mark including subframes

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Great looking car :) The white colour coding looks awesome! Nice wheels too

Did you colour the side bullets etc yourself?

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

No i think it was middo that did them cant remeber. Whoever it was
did an outstanding job

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Thought NathJ did your bullets?

Looking chav as ever ;)

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

I just dont see the point in buying a bumper to own for 2 months if you're intending on buying a sport, you gump!

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Looks like it needs a good detail, but other than that it looks really good. Would have prefered the seats in black, but they still look alright. :)

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Fookin harsh if u ask me. Well bumper cost me 50 but i can sell for more

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

I'm a big fan of this car mate. If you wern't selling i'd say get xenons and get it colour coded.

Similar plans with the 172?

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Should be honoured!

You pleb you don't amit that on the forum you want to sell it on ;)

172 will be a gradual thing as cost etc but yh just making it
look smart. Wont be black and white again though. Pain to clean. And cheers :)

Should be honoured!

FLOl people would have forgotten by then ;)

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Looks wicked that. Really like how it sits, what size springs are on it, 40mm?

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

Its on sportlines so aparently 45 but more like 35-40

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

those seats go really well with the black and white theme.....

:)

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished)

OK time to update this. Been a while and had some new mods fitted.

I know i said i was going to be getting rid in january but insurance was a no go so waiting until im 21 now.

1st things 1st, the 172 rear bumper. Me and rich did this in the freeing cold. Making that exhaust surround fit and cutting the exhaust hole was a pain in the ass!

Then came the best. I replaced the blue buckets with........

P1000293.webp

Yes the same seat but in black. Looks 10000x better. And they were cheaper so i made some profit :D

I then got hold of some black gold side strips. Cant tell they are BG so its all good.
P1000313.webp

I have also taken rear seats out, got a false floor coming hopefully. Fitting a skoda splitter today as soon as my mate gets here with a drill to make some pilot holes. Got a 1*2 steering wheel to fit.

Mods to come:
Colour coded front bumper.
Re spray the front and back diamonds, the rear clio badge.
White wing mirror covers.
Tidy up the engine bay.

I know alot of you will tell me im wasting my money because im selling soon, but i dont care. I love my car and i love doing stuff to it. Hobbies cost money, this is my hobby :D

A few more to end with.

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished) UPDATE

Like this! I'm going to get some of those Cobra seats me thinks!

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished) UPDATE

What's wrong with the standard splitter?

That Skoda one just makes it look higher.

Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished) UPDATE

I didnt like the way it looked. Im not to worried about the height any more. It handles brilliant which is all that matters :)
