My 1.6 Dynamique

Well...

I thought 83 posts later, I'd introduce myself + the Clio :rasp: :approve:

This is my 2003 plate 1.6 16v Dynamique. Is my second car after an eventful, yet sh1tley beloved Punto 1.1, so feels like a huge step up, which imo, it is
Next car will either be a Black 182 FF... Which is what I've set my heart on... or more likely due to work a Golf GTTdi or A3/A4 TDi to avoid requiring shares in shell and BP.

Done nearly 10k in it now. Bought with 16.5k miles for £4600 when it was up for £4990. I hear its still worth in excess of £5900 even now so was dead pleased.

The previous owner [only been the one and me from new] had the RS badges, Electric sunroof and headlight washers installed by Reno, so it's got CC, AC and ESunroof, ohhhh the choices!

Definitely wanna do some nice subtle mods.
Got the following in mind:

CTR Aerial
Colour Coded bumpers/172 rear bumper
Silver Turini's/OZ SuperT's
45mm Springs all round
Alpine Steering Controls
New floor Interior Mats, current ones are a bit dated + worn
Wouldn't mind some smoked rear clusters, I think they'd suit the red and black theme on my car but definitely not a fan of LED/Lexus style :dead:
Cup Spoiler possibly...

Couple of other general things too.
- What is the official colour of my car, deep Red, same as Daz_2427s?
- Can you pay for ClioSport membership other than paypal as I cancelled my papyal subscription due to the suspicion it was blocking debits from my card?

Very nice car matey, lovely engine/steering/suspension setup as standard in the 1.6's

BTW....why remove the Sport badge? Techincaly it IS a sport.

*edit* I beleive the red is Cherry Red.

great choice of engine size mate ! they go like stink dont they! mine is a plus, it has electric sunroof and aircon etc but i dont have the headlight washers like you unfortunately. Nice car mate, enjoy it!

Your reet, it's depreciated a lot since I last did a value check which was when I had just bought it

Do the mod plans sound reasonable?
Good £900's worth there though I would imagine, if not more

In my defence, at least the Sport badge is in the right place, I blame the previous owner

I personally wouldn't lower a 1.6, I felt the suspension on my 1.6 was spot on hence why I left it alone

paid 2.5k for me 02 1.616v with 30k on clock all it needed was a new wing. Thinking of cashing in

suspension set up standard on them is good but no where near as good as aftermarket stuff, well some aftermarket stuff, stick a set of 60mm springs on it and likely it wont be any better but do it properly and it will.

nice car though but only 1 thing is get the sport badge to fuk!
