Sadly i dont think there is much we are going to be able to do for you, From
the sounds of things it looks like you could be looking at a new engine
which is not something we would offer as a service due to the time scale
involved along with the issues related to second hand engines. Sorry we
could not be of more help.

Spoke to markfish he said he will find and pinpoint the problem at £58 per hour, and then go from there but said it could be has much as £1500 to put right, but sounded really confident that he will make the car sound again.

Im thinking of doing that but on the other hand its just a £3000 car once fixed, just thinking i can get something reliable for around £4000 like a WRX

Would'nt bother mate you'll kill it and parts are 3 times as much as clios i had a sti for 3 years cost a fortune to run and keep it mint

What an absolute twunt!People spend a hell of a lot of money on cars and put in a lot of research and work when looking for one,imagine the stress someone would have gone through buying your car then finding its a shitter!

Anyone know where maz lives?

I agree, but when I first saw this thread about how is engine is broke and then thought he was trying to pass that on to me saying it was Mint it just made my blood boil so thats why I posted my comments.

I didnt want any other forum members to get stung in possibly the same way I could of.

I am not one to be a bully I just dont like peeps trying to rip me off.

I personally think you are a bit handicapped. I don't mean that in a nasty way, I mean it as in you were possibly in the special class at school? I don't know what the PC term is for it nowadays, but you certainly aren't all there.

All I can say is that it's a shame that Maz can't receive the comments he deserves,
zabernism will not be tollerated on this forum.

It's a shame the car hasn't been looked after,
some people shouldn't be allowed nice cars.

At least he's been caught out before someone unwittingly bought it.

Can't condone trying to sell it to club members here.
Unfortunately some people have no standards to live by,
no way would I be buying any parts from that car either.

my car plus £5500 and the member knows fully well what the problem is, but again not keen on a Renault at this time, but it was tempting
