My 172, or a 172 cup?

Really like my 172 and I have only had it for a couple of months, but my lass has been going on at me about getting her a Sport.

Found a 172 cup for sale local to me and went to look at it today. It has decent mileage, will have full M.O.T., is taxed until end of Feb and is pretty much standard.

My lass says she will have either my flamer, or the Cup. The cup feels more like what I am used to, the springs are stiffer and the car as a whole feels how I like a car to feel, but I really like my flamer. I think my car looks better and is exactly what I was after when looking for a car, but it has the ABS and more of the 'comforts' she will use more than I do and is 'theoretically' a 'safer' car for her to drive.

Buying the Cup will probably mean I will have to sell my Proton though, so that is the biggest stumbling block.

Now the question................anyone gone from a 172, to a 172 cup and what were their thoughts?

  172 with k-tec sound
cup= more a drivers car, more edgy
untamed ect,
172= more luxury more gadgets ect.
but not that much diffo in performance between the two imho.
i allways think of the cup as more of a trackday car less to go wrong, the 172 is an everyday car commuting ect, but still a helova lotta fun when u need it to be;)
