Changed a bit over the last month. AST's are off and sold, standard height sucks so I think I'll order some sportlines in a second, let it sit a bit nicer.

Turinis were meant to be anthracite, took the powdercoaters 3 weeks to do them the wrong colour, so told them to redo them in silver and they did the worng colour again (not far off white) and not a very good job, but the 15's I was running are sold and the guy has already waited 2 weeks longer so I've had to settle with them :( Don't look overly bad, but could be better.

Was going to put it for sale, but don't think I can bring myself to get rid, so will be staying unless someone offers me silly money for it (hint hint ;))

Anyways, a few pictures after I fitted the wheels and a quick wash over it, along with some shameless plugging for the Birchdown boys!

And the car in its prime in my opinion:

I kind of like the wheels that color but at the same time its funny on the eye

How come you had a change of mind come sale time?

Yeah i'm not sure on them either way to be honest :S

Well bought an R6 for fun, so car was going to standard to pay for it, then thought I may as well sell up and buy a cheap runner, but i love it too much!

Just bought some sportlines too i think, miiiiiiint :D

Thanks for rubbing it in Dan :(

it's a 99 R6.
AST's won't come again, as good as they are I won't get the use from them as the bike is the new toy!

I've gone Cup suspension > Sportlines > H&R's > AST's > Cup suspension > Sportlines now haha!

Love'd it in its prime, definally wanted mine a'like.

Sorry mate, but those turini's are shamefull, full on primer !!! If they are meant to be silver, f**k me they must be blind.

Get some cheap v-maxx coils ;)

They look less primer-ish to be fair in real life, but still not the silver i asked for.

Will get them redone at some point, but for now it will stay.

Can't get the V-maxx for cupped 182's otherwise I probably would, sportlines will do for now though.

I kind of like the wheels but i'd be going back and getting amphasite again, even SILVER for the clean look.

Hows the toyos tread now?

Wheels look awful, but love the car.

I'll try and get some better pictures as they are a bit more agreeable in person as said earlier, i'm hoping a bit lower on sportlines will pull them off a bit better with being a wierd colour.......could be the next Cliosport must have?!

Liam, how you mean about the Toyo's?! They've only done about 1k miles.

Even your mum said that about them :( ;)

The wheels are a strange but goo colour.. i think they dont look as good with silver though.

If you remember when i was over i was thinking about getting toyos instead of exaltos, i think you'd had them on the car a month and the tread looked pretty good..

Just wondering what they're like now

looking good man. it doesn't even look that high!!!

wheels are a bit fuckeries though!

<3

Ah I get you, they were off not long after that and were at the powdercoaters so was running my 15's with yoko paradas.
They will last me a decent amout of time, you bought some new ones yet?

It looks high compared to the ASt's luke, and thats what hurts deep inside :( Sportlines will help a bit though.

Thanks Warren, but won't be doing them anytime soon, just picked the wheels and got the tyres on today, and I can't be bothered to do any more with them yet, im too annoyed about them!

May take you up on the offer in a few months though?! :)

It looked so good!

I'll have to show you the new zorst on the bean, sounds awsome.

Coming up to ladybower this sunday?

I bet mate, looks better than your old one!

Ladybower?
Possibly, depends on work, gf, or something else im sure i should be doing on sunday that i cant remember....!

How do the differing suspension options compare in terms of performance?

Len, for cost v performance I'd vote sportlines all day and night to be honest. The H&R's were really good, but I found the front a little soft and the back a little hard and crashy. The AST's are in another world in all honesty, superb piece of kit in my opinion, not cheap but worth it if you get the use from them.

Hmm, they don't look much better in daylight it seems :(

At least I didnt pay much for them to be done.

get them off now!!!! Talk to fred or something!!!

duuuuuuuuuuude!!!

Got no money or time for the next few weeks mate, it will be rectified don't worry, but perfection takes time :)

Sportlines bought, hopefully have them before this weekend if I get lucky then I'll fit them when I get some free time.

In the flesh they are a bad cross between the original primer gray and high power silver, they did a fooking rubbish job this time since I wasn't paying, quality first time around was amazing :(

Nothing worse, being let down with something like that imo, totally out of your hands :(

It'll end up win i'm sure :)

It will do, i dunno whether to go anthracite or bright bright silver though when they do get redone?

As said, good job they didnt cost much to be done.

Love this wee one, ex H&R "and" AST wagon too - tis a lovely looking sheep dare I say-so :)
