The car is currently up for sale. I had a guy lined up to view today who turned out to be a complete and utter time waster. Enough of that though, i washed, polished and waxed the car so it looked brilliant for him and also took some pics at the same time. Though id post them as the car looks superb imo

He text me for 5/6 days. He’d said all along he wanted to view the car this weekend, asked repeatedly if it was as good as i said it was as hed seen several which are absolute nails. Made an offer yesterday via text which i said was too low. He then text again this morning offering a better offer which i accepted he then turned around and said that he was viewing another car after id prepped the car and freed up my day so he could view the car.

He’s never wanted to speak on the phone either, always over text which i find peculiar. Ive tried to ring a couple of times and hes not answered but text after.

The upper engine inlet/fuel rail guard has been resprayed and the front corner of the bumper (passenger side) was repaired by chips away but thats its

It's up for £5500 but im open to a little negotiation on price. It's not the cheapest 182 out there for sale but id certainly like to think its one of the better ones.

Had the lot done inc dephaser at Birchdown around February. It also had its last service at Birchdown around the end of May inc gearbox oil and coolant change.

Halford high temperature engine paint. Was only about £4.99. I did 3 coats and still have some left in the tin.

Sounds pretty feasable that tbh. Ive only ever text once when buying a car. The ad had been on pistonheads for "over 15days" so i text the guy asking if the car was still for sale, he replied saying yes it was and i then phoned him back straight away to discuss.

Someone asked what make the tyre is, it's Pirelli P Zero Nero. I had them on my 172. Not a bad little tyre.

I only removed the RS badges as the origionals were looking tatty. Ive got a New and old style badge. Might get a new style sport badge and have the new style on. i duno though

It shouldnt cost much to buy a sport badge. I already have the renault part. Are the old style sport badges the same as the tat halfords sell or are they different? Its just a case of finishing touches.

Just makes no sense at all to me. You're selling it and you spend more on it. No matter if it's £0.50 or £50 it's all the same, you're increasing your loss.

I removed them as they were looking tatty. I fully intended to replace them but never got round to it. I have a nice shiney new Renault badge sitting here. just need a sport badge.
