No it came with them. Comfort wise very similar to the sportlines I had on the 172 which if irrc weren't much worse than the standard.
Definitely handle better but the cup shocks might be helping there a bit too...

P.S Toby, get yourself a pot of Dodo Juice Banana Armour mate. After trying various products it was the one which best brought out the vividness of the colour on my Bean. Highly recommended!
