My 260bhp Clio mod!

  Evo
Had a little something up my sleeve for a while now and the work is finally complete

Heres a little hint lol:

Its a wet shot of nitrous from WON with 50bhp (60 lb/ft) metering jets fitted. I've been told the engine could take 60bhp but i'm keeping it safe. And for any doubters to the efficiency of this it is something else. Totally transforms the car into an animal on the straights, addictive lol.

11lb polished bottle, good for about 8 minutes worth of spray:

Progessive controller, adjust the amount of nitrous sparyed dependant on time ( so the lower rpm means less nitrous, easier on engine ):

Fuel line tap for additional fuel injection:

Under bonnet installation, looks amazing in person:

Any questions or comments welcome :p

always been tempted for a 50 shot of nitrous but gonna leave that till i get everything else how i want it first i think.

Just had a look, about £40-50. Wouldn't itb's make more sense long term?

£55, but 8 minutes of spray is longer than you'd think considering you only use it for a few seconds at a time.

Seems a extremely expensive mod to me this mate, but if youve got the cash, why not cause i bet its sweet when you flick that switch :)

  Evo
hows it used?one flick/press of the button or keep it pressed as long as you want?

Switch the arming switch to on and the controller boots up, then it has a throttle position sensor, when you go over 80% throttle it kicks in.

And with regards to insurance, alot lol. Its difficult to find a company in the first place that'll insure you.

There's a bit of an echo in this thread lol

Good to see something different. Didn't realise Nos was that expensive to have installed. Be good to know how you get on with it mate, hope it all goes well!

I assume you can adjust the duration / effect balance?

Its not the most sophisticated controller on the market but for what i need its more than up to the job. I can adjust initial power %, duration to 100% and at what % its maxes out at.

Duration/Effect is controlled by the size of the metering jets in the solenoids, so physically changing these is the only way to adjust the balance, but its only a 10 minute job lol.

Looks good, Pricey though.

Remember French car show 07, and seeing Morky's car running NOS, Was Quick when he pressed that special button.

Awesome mate, I like how it sends the power, I initially thought it was something like that seen in the movies but this way is much better. Does it make any difference to the exhaust note ie does it pop/bang more?

Can't you buy the nitrous in bulk for a discount?

All you need now is one of the famous NOS stickers on the windows. ;)

looking nice ben. did you do it yourself mate? Presume it's just holes into to the inductions hose and press button when required? how do you make sure you're not putting in too much;

"double shot of nos blew the welds on the intake" ;)

Louder exhaust note and a cheeky blue flame out the exhausts if i shift at the last minute :star:

Cant buy nitrous in bulk because the equipment required to store it means you wont see a profit for years on a single application.

Nice one m8...similar set up to Matt Black on his V6 years back....he even had to bottle on show in the back window lol
