The Beast MK4
It was 60K service time today. I had an extra problem going in which was knocking and vibration in the steering wheel (both developed at the start of the week) so I informed them and left the car at Hi-Q.
Come 4.30 when I went to get the car I was confronted with bad news.
Heres the list:
Exhausts Knocking
2 Front Wheels Buckled
O/S/F C.V Gaiter Insecure
Play in steering rack
Slight play O/S/F Top Strut Mount
No 4 Spark Plug Seized
C.V Joint Starting To Go
Gutted about the wheels as ive had no collision with kerbs e.t.c so it must be the absolutely disgraceful roads round about me.
Ive got a custom stainless zaust so it can get sorted by the guy who did mine so no problems there, the gaitors getting fixed asap and that should not bother me too much as well until the time comes to replace the CV Joint.
My question is: Are buckled wheels a gonner? Can they be fixed?
What a day! :dead:
