My BG 182 FF

  UR 197 Cup
I got my BG 182 FF a few weeks ago and started driving it this week. Ive come from a 1.2 so im familiar with clios except the power difference lol. But i love it, its a fantastic little car.
So anyway i got it from a chap in cornwall. Its done 68000 miles, had a recent cambelt change, FSH, and in general a very tidy car. The paintwork is also in very good condition as well as the interior. Its fairly standard as well so all in all a very good car.

here are the plans i have for it:

· Change mats
· Change number plates
· Put my turinis on
· Lower by 30-40mm (cooksports)
· Remove car badges and put on 197 badge
· Connects 2
· Paint callipers silver/black/yellow
· Change exhaust to rs192 scorpion/janspeed
· Battery cover
· Wheel spacers 20mm front 15mm back
· Steering wheel retrim

the number plates and rs badge have already been done and at the moment im very happy with how it looks but it can only get better. Hopefully i will get the mats changed over in the next week and then the next two bits are lowering and putting my turinis on, It will be lowered as soon as cooksport get there springs back in stock.

Heres a few pictures of when i got it and how it sits now

There hasnt been much to report on this lately but over the last few days i have got a few more bits done.
I bought new mats which is a massive improvement. Well worth the money, I have also bought some cooksports and i gave it a proper going over detarred, clayed, polished and finished with c2v3 which is a fantastic product. I still have all the plastic parts to sort out and a few more bits but im happy with how it is at the moment. Im also looking forward to getting my turinis on and a few other bits done. Anyway heres some pictures....

I have been quiet for quite a while and thought it was about time for an update considering a lot has changed in the last couple of weeks..

So, 2 weeks ago i put the cooksports on with turinis and 5mm spacers, this was the first major change for the car and i am really happy with the results! it sits perfectly and imo the turinis transform the look. I love the black on silver look, its simple but is a great combo.

After i had done that my plan was to get her clean which proved to be impossible with the weather, so i left it filthy for the time being during the week after putting the cooksports and turinis on i decided to buy my new exhaust which is the KTR unsilenced system. I am chuffed to bits with it, it sounds perfect and looks a lot better (albeit needing new mounts and a bit of adjustment). So that was fitted on the sunday and during the week i fitted my connects 2 so a good couple of weeks for me and finally yesterday i managed to get it clean. Only one problem though some idiot decided to open there car door onto my passanger door and has made a right mess of it. Its annoying as i have just got it looking how i want it to and that happens. Anyway heres some pics of it clean! nothing special but you get the idea

  BMW E91 Tourer
they didn't just open the door onto it then, looks like they banged it with that dent.... obviously no sorry note.

Looks clean...

  350z - gone :(
how are you finding the springs? i cant decide if i want to keep my standard shocks with good quality springs or change to some coilovers for the stance and more focused handling hmmm

  UR 197 Cup
Springs are great! Really impressed with everything about them. Would definitely recommend them

  UR 197 Cup
These sit at the perfect height to me, perfect height and the comfort of these compared to cheap coilovers.. :)
