It has been a while since I updated this thread! 
We went over to the Nurburgring on 21st August for a few days. I managed to come off at Adenauer-Forst, which resulted in a bent shock, I was told by a local garage I could drive the car home but not go back on the 'Ring. I got about five laps in before this happened so it wasn't too bad. Even still, I had a superb time and fun was had by all!

As for "modifications" (term used loosely!!!), I have had a custom front number plate made up to fit the recess...
And as I was going to have a new front one, I decided to get a new rear one as the other one started peeling, etc...
I haven't got any major plans for the car but who knows what may happen in 2010

So... what have I or what has the car been doing since June 2011. Well we went to the 'Ring in August...
That was a good trip apart me being my OSF shock... again!!! Haha! And one of my mates wrote off his Evo 8 where I was a passenger...
So this year, we attended Castle Combe in April, which was VERY wet...
And we attended PPC's Mallory Park in May where unfortunately my car threw a tantrum and spilt its guts all over the track. This was the last photo taken and I added a little bit of text...
Over five years of owning it, I racked up 100k miles and took it on various track/event days... Castle Combe, Mallory Park and the Nurburgring. Not once has it let me down. It has done blimming well!
Anyway, I got a quote from a local garage (Renault specialist) and for a new clutch, gearbox, flywheel and starter motor, I'd already be looking at £2,500. So I said... right time to get a new car. I was looking at going old/mature/sensible but I still like my track days. So after hunting round and travelling hundreds of miles, I collected my new toy from Fareham (Near Portsmouth, Hampshire) this afternooon...
