My Clio 182

Well i will start off with a breif intro, after i passed my test i purchased a clio 1.2 8v, then i got a 2.0 16v corsa, then a clio RSI, then a Renault 5 GT turbo and have had three since and now i have the Clio 182. As you can see i have a soft spot for Renaults .

Now About the clio, I have had the clio now for 1 1/2 months, the first thing i needed to do was the brakes as they almost had dis-intergrated when i got the car.

The car had a A/M back box so brought a de-cat pipe to give the car a lil bit more of a grrrr.

The next Mod was GAZ coilovers to give the car a lil bit more stability around corners

Well thats it for now got a few more things up my sleeve jsu waiting for pennies!

Will get better pics tomo in the light! Hmmmmm still thinking maybe a little bit lower tho!!!

Since the last time i updated, the car has changed alot! i took the de-cat off as it was doin my f*cking head in!

Then about a month ago, after 3 months off the road the clio, with help from engine dynamics has now forced induction!

with standard compression.



Next in mind is to machine the pistons and turn the boost up abit!

i have recently brought a roll cage from mightyshark off the site, painting that Focus st or dyno rod orange along with the wheels!

Also still plan on machining the pistons and turning the boost up!!!

Abit of an update, i decided for a change so go the wheels painted Focus ST orange



While i done the wheels i also had my six point roll cage sprayed too

Have now put the car back together, also sprayed the engine cover, front diamond and side bullets orange,

Now the Six point roll cage is in which was a right pain in the arse, but managed to get it in the car with minimal scratching of the cage and car!!

how much bhp are your running now?

To be perfectly honest im not sure what power im running, i would like to say about 230bhp, but would say that confidently so i would say 220bhp which is an estimate, my renault 5 gtt, was 220 bhp and this is much quicker soooo not sure.

Will get it rolling road'd once i have dont the pistons and the other little bits to the engine, will then be a more satifying result!

Not sure really, like i said pistons, fuel pump and injects then a remap and more boost, considering a de-cat aswell! but wont be doin all that till winter time, dont wanna ruin the better driving weather with the car being off the road!

Long term, forged maybe, deff more power, better suspension and deff considering 4 pot brakes
