My clio trophy track car

Hi my names scott, i work for a company called litchfield imports, i work as a technician/ project manger, We have the chance to do alot of sprint events/ nurburgring trips as part of work so 5 of my work colleges decided to by clios so it was a little competitive, A friend of mine offered me a clio trophy cheap as many of the parts that made it special had been removed! Which was fine as i only wanted a track hack! Ive had it a couple of weeks now and love it ! I have added a few things to it already including a corbeau revolution seat with 3 inch harness, rear roll cage and homemade strut brace, coilovers, among st alot of other things. The car was fairly standard bar a megane gear linkage/shifter and the wheels and aero catchs.

We are supposed to be going to spa april the 1st i think,but am awaiting news from some friends to see if there cars are going to be ready! I also couldnt help myself fidling with it today, making a rear diffuser for it and now has me thinking of doing a full flat floor and front splitter

No slam panel or fuel rail guard? It even looks to have had metal hacksawed away by the near side light..

The slam panel is as strong as a coke can mate it does sweet FA!
The only thing that matters in a front whack is the front crash bar. Which unless he likes bendy handling cars, will still be there.

Fuel rail guard is a fair point though. No idea why people remove them.

Largely because there is a whopping great boost hose in the way 😂

In a front end impact surely the fuel rail guard would just crush the fuel rail and pipes to bits anyway.

If the car is in a crash hard enough to crush the fuel rail guard, chances are the driver would be brown bread anyway.
They're designed to take big impacts and they're bolted to the engine.

You'd also be wearing the engine as a left testicle before that guard crushed. Lol

Surely the clio has an inertia switch to cut the pump off anyway so by the time you've crashed the rail is no longer supplied.

I see he ended the listing, wonder what he got for it? don't know why anyone would pay a premium fro a trophy thats is cat C and minus every trophy specific part (except the paint)
