and don't listen to people about it never driving the same. All my mates said this to me when i crashed mine... they all said get rid of it... it'll never be the same. I ripped the two front wheels off of my car.... bent both wishbones into a 90 degree L shape... snapped ball joints... popped my driveshafts... and bent the steering rack.
I had the steering rack, and driveshafts reconditioned, and bought new wishbones and ball joints.
NEVER DRIVEN SO GOOD!!!!! i kid you not. It drives alot better now than it ever did. Never knocks in corners, turns smoothly. No jolts etc etc. 24hours later it was passing the MOT with flying colours.

Cheers lads, i think at worst i may have a bent wishbone....
Obviously if it gets repaired and i get it back and it feels funny and does not drive well im within my rights to have it taken back in until im happy as they have to return the car back to as near to A1 condition as possible surely?? just speaking from a buildings insurance claim i had to put through recently.
TBH if its written off i wont be too upset, like i said i have the 8K GAP insurance on it so will be quids in, it will be going in the bank if thats the case and ill be saving to buy a bigger house. We will have to wait and see!

turns out the bloke that hit me is a bit of a wanker.........
He fully admitted liability to me in relation to the accident, and then also admitted liability to the police for the accident and was then reported for inconciderate and careless driving.
And now that he has spoken to his insurance company, "oh no it wasnt my fault"

I think you need to do the honourable thing now that he has been a dick.
Get yaself to ya GP in the morning, claim your back is sore etc etc, hurts to bend down. Say you have been in an accident. Then put in a claim for compo.

Just remembered i had a few pics of the little b*****d.........
Shite quality as i used my phone from a distance in dark, the other side of the car is non existant, The door is level with the middle of the steering wheel, big v shape dent where the roofs gone in on that side and the engine block is on the floor......

Its alrite you guys encouraging him to be fraudulant and make a claim for this that and the other, but you lot wont be saying that when it happens to you and the other guy starts claiming against you, some idiot who i had never known or met, managed to get my details, my address, name, car reg, car type, model and dragged me throught 3 claim solicitors for over a year trying to say id hit him up the arse, i made over 4 statements, i had 2 insurance companies send out a guy to check my car, even they said it hadnt been in any accidents and the guy was a con man.
I denied everything for over a year and they still keep coming at you, his car was apparently written off and was only worth £400
.Suffice to say i could easily kill the b*****d if i ever met them, and if i end up in court denying something thats nothing to do with me then i f**king will.
