My first pilot session of a 172 Cup

I'm doing well this week!

Not only did I get a first drive of Stevie's Ph.1 172, but after finishing work today, but Chris (Chris & Nic) brought his modded 172 Cup around for me to have a go.

Apart from the obvious lightening of the car with it being stripped out and fitted with bucket seats, it might as well have been a completely different car to mine. In fact, it bears little resemblance to mine at all.

Mine feels like a little tub of lard in comparison. So much softer and with armchairs instead of seats. Chris's felt quicker, was quicker, stopped MUCH better, cornered better and sounded far better too. Not only that, but it does better bloody MPG than mine too!

The Cup felt amazing - even in the wet. In the bone dry, it must be an awesome car to take out on track. What a great car, that really is...
