My First sighting of a 197 30/06/06

Went to New Lodge Estate Post Office in Barnsley today for my new 12 Month £190 Tax Disc (I'd expect it to be made of Gold for this price or at least carbon fibre).

Anyway just setting off from the Post Office when a Black Shape came whizzing round the tight corner leading to the Post Office and nearly collecting me in the process, when i looked at it again i realised what it was, a Black 197 Clio, despite nearly runnung into me the car looked the dog wotsits.

I didn't like the 197 at first but now they are out i really do like them, just needs more toys inside now to tempt me even more

I wouldn't look either, i was saving up for insurence & tyres, thats buggered up now.

Saw my 2nd 197 in Racing blue, on Rotherham Road Barnsley at 5.40pm, Prefer Deep Black up to now till i see the rest of the colours

Spotted a Red one on Saturday in Trowbridge, Wilts; has a bit of V6 about it when coming towards you, very wide stance.

I have see it only at the dealer, end of july it will be seld. I have seen the Black, Deep Bleu, and Nimbus today

just paid £104 for 6 months - £190 for a year.

the lady in post office put on my tax disc 12 months by mistake cos she automatically assumed thats long it was due to price

My dealer is meant to have a demo 197 in so, tempting to take it for a burn
