My Future Project

Car  Clio 1998 1.4 RT
I came across this forum while looking for some parts for my first car which i am getting on wednesday :) (Will post pic below) Sorry it's big.

I was wondering about a new sound system, I have about £200 to spend at the moment on a sub/amp package.
I have read around that the basic stuff it comes with has no wires leading to the back speakers and i know it has a cassette player in it which will be going asap.

Any tips/ideas help would be appreciated and ill be hopefully active here alot!

if the car has a standard stereo the money will be better spent on new front speakers, adding rear speakers if they aren't there and a decent head unit :)

Hmm yeah maybe, id imagine the standard stuff is well out dated but I don't want to spend a lot on fixing up the front and back speakers as it can get quite expensive :P
Maybe if I just looked at fixing up the front and then maybe buying some 6x9s and not have the back running at all?

What ya think?

Ahh ok, im kinda new to all this so i might need a guide or something! Are there any brands i should stay away from at all?

Stick with Kenwood/Pioneer and Alpine, get used stuff if you want the most for your money.
