my install

Looks sweet. SPL not a great make but who can tell tbh other than experts plus you have two must be kickin out some friekin huge bass. Set up looks cool nice and neat mine is abit of a mess and the sub is bit bulky the link is in a post below. If i crash that bad boy is coming straight through to me ha  :o:D

but still i need to improve it. im will get some infinity components and stick them in the front and then i will be happy for sure but at the mo the subs and the 6by9s are making my days. lolz. but im hearing rattles in the boot which i dont know what that is but i will check it out.

Yeah i got this vibe sub worth like 250 for 80 quid roughly the frequencies of the notes are amazin but i had probs to begin with as my amp is 1600W friekin massive. I put some 500W 6x9's in it SPLX ha so bit cheap and the power was so much the wires actually melted and soldered together ha. They were jus low notes to so i re wired thm to the head unit an is all fine now. I got xplod amp head unit and bought some new 13cm speakers for front also xplod so sound system is nice. Jus need to do car up now haah. need alloys. :D

lolzzz sickk one. i aint feeling splx amps you dont have enough control over the speakers with them like the hpf and lpf gains as compared to toxic amps. but hey as loong as it sounds good go 4 it u get me.
where abouts have you mounted the 13cm speakers in the front?

There were just a couple of old blaupunkt ones in front speaker space like stock ones. They were ok for bass i suppose but not very clear so i got some tri axel ones now voices are alot better i also set 6x9's to get voices and higher tones than lower let the sub take care of that. 6x9's really jus for look and ppl in the back. Wat clio u got.

kool. lolz i think it would be difficult to stick in 6.5" components in the front doors. dont you think? and what car do you have?

I have a clio mk2 RN. It was pretty simple i took of the covers then unscrewed the "screws" ha then they just clip off. As i did you may have to snip the wire because the adaptor thats on it may not fit. Jus cut the wire make sure u got + an + and - an- together. Then eleccy tape round em and then jus stuff it back in and screw it all up. Works fine one of my wires was missin out of the pack so i went to motor world and bought some speaker wire and a couple of adaptor things and made my own. I dont no much about wiring an i did it fine. Its worth jus takin it all apart and havin a look jus our of interest.
