My last night with the 200

Well the 200 is gone tomorrow I've really loved this car but gotta move on to other things.. Gets dropped off tomorrow in part ex....

Anyone thinking about buying a 200 just do it.. Its a brilliant car.. so much better than the 197 in many ways... Ignore all the "don't like the front and don't like the wheels brigade" its a brilliant car that punches way above its weight...

IIRC you went for LP2 and leather? Lucky boy TBH. Maximum Specification (in best Crysis voice). I sometimes wish I'd gone for LP2 for the GPS, but alas it wasn't to be with my deal. I forget which colour you went for. I think white? You will NOT miss the Clio. Be assured of this.

Thanks dude. Like I said, as good as the Clio is, he will not miss it. The FRS is an amazing hatch to own day-to-day. It does everything extremely well.

No it doesn't IMO. if it was 4x4 drive then it would weigh even more. Ford would have to then up the power, making it even more expensive and thus misssing it's target market.

I noticed you sold your 200 very cheap. Was the trade in on it that bad or was there another reason for selling privatley at low value and buying from a dealer?

FRS is seriously a sexy car. I have also been thinking about making the change but come to the conclusion it would be better to hold out and see what is around in a couple of years time.

Anyone who knows anything about how cars are built, could explain why 4WD wasn't a viable option when building it alongside other models. It simply wouldn't have been given the green light if it were that bespoke. So basically it had to be FWD or nothing. According to the internet, that compromise is a fail. According to anyone who's driven one, it isn't.

It has astonishing poise and traction.

I gather the REVO knuckle system and Quaife LSD keep them perfectly balanced for all that power.

Dropped the 200 off about an hour ago and collected my courtesy car to use till 1st March when the FRS is collected... Got handed the keys to a bright green 1.2 fiesta

maybe its just me but i can imagine it just power sliding road a gravel corner or flying through the air in the woods on a rally jump, cant wait for ken block to start hammering his, got to say it is a lovely car though, how much did you sell your 200 for? mine got evaluated in bauher millet in manchester at 12.5k on a trade in, thats with crash damage and 9k on the clock and it needs 2 front new tyres
