thanks for your comments guys!!

will be on the look 4 new wheels!! are they turbines then?

canty come fcs as much as i'd like to!!

its not wheel size but tyre size thats important. you can fit 16,s 17,s 18,s and keep the radius the same as the original 185 55 15,s. you just lose some tyre wall and replace it with wheel. and just fitting wider tyres on smaller rims screws the handling as much as larger wheels.

  clio 1.2
valver valver valer!!! they are so awsome and a tubo:D sweet the wheel dont look bad and i bet u do struggle for traction but the smoothing is very lush(Y)

Not totally correct there mate, whats more heavy a 15" wheel or 17" wheel??

A 17" wheel by a country mile, all about standard size imo, it does make that much diffenrence, specially from pull away and in the lower gears, iv been there and had both on my 2.0 valver.

lookin sweet fella.

as for 17s vs 15s.......nick reads old turbo..now adis.....iv raced it only on 17s......and beat it pretty much evry time in the willy.......i kid u not lol.

he put it on 15s and shaved over 1/2 sec off his time...theres no way the willy would get anywhere near its time wen it ran on 15s.......put it back on 17s an il give it a good run again......simple as.

but 15,s vs 17,s what size tyres. if the rolling radius is the same the speed will be the same. also ph,s1 and 2,s are heavy. 18,s light weight rims are also about the same weight. and at 300bhp the extra traction out weighs any other draw back. also thats straight line. what about the increased road holding and traction on the twistys. and nick ran 17,s on the road as he ran larger brakes. not useful on a drag strip but then there worth more than a few seconds on the road over standard brakes

agree with the manifold mate...am looking into a custom made one!

side exit actually gains power so :rasp:

lol, explain how it gains power.

it doesnt blend into the slipstream if thats what your thinking.

Shorter exhausts give more power.

Sounds like a decent bit of kit but those 17s are about 30 years old aren't they? I'd get smaller ones, looks like a monster truck on a little Clio.

yea i know wheels are old and s**t but cant afford new one's at mo!

Am either gonna get willy wheels or some turbines...wanna keep it standard looking on the outside!!
