My New Clio DCi 100 :D finally!!

Well after weeks of searching for diesels to help save money towards house, we finally found a clio that had everything we wanted! so off we went, on a 500 mile round trip yesterday!

and best of all £30 a year to tax!

It was worth the miles to get it as it is in show room condition! only two tiny parking dimples on drivers door which you would be struggling to see, and thats it!

All the alloys are perfect with new matching tyres, no scratches to bodywork anywhere! Very very happy with it and wasn't stung by the price either!

LOVING the mpg! doing 75mph on motorway it was doing 65mpg! and on normal roads home it was happily doing 58+mpg.... A lot different to the average 25mpg of the mini cooper s lol!

it was awesome on the motorway, effortless driving and very easy overtaking. alot quicker than i thought a diesel would be around town, so happy all round!

it was an option on all dynamiques even the 1.2s, just hardly any have them. another rare option was sat nav

think it has all factory extras apart from sat nav doesnt it? certainly wouldnt have been cheap new! lol

the bloke that sold it should be a sales man, he talked us through absolutely every little thing on the car! even read small print in service book about cambelt being changed at 48k if you do short journeys or something?! so he had it all done.

and yea i was shocked when i noticed it had xenons in the advert! i was planning on finding some from 172/182

id say 2 out of 5 of the 100's you see have them which is quite a lot!, 4 out of 5 of them are specced up with electric cloud roof and climate control

o right the other 100s we went to see and ones saw advertised, didn't have xenons. think one of them had electric sunroof.

thats a very good price, some out there with 80k+ are still holding over 4k with less options.

i paid £3700 for mine last year with 71k

right today i have bought 6000k bulbs, silver indicator bulbs to get rid of orange (not sure if i like it), shorter aerial and a set of lowering springs.... lol!

45mm, not sure if its going to be too low, if it is ill get 30mm

also in the glove box in the right corner theres a open/shut valve of some sort... whats this? lol

Air vent for cooling the glove box iirc.

yep air vent that once opened keeps the glovebox climate controlled so you can keep your cans cool (or warm if you like lol)

New C2 Aerial

Got these too, 6000k D2S Bulbs for the xenons and "de-tango'd" indicators

And the bulbs

A lot whiter..... side lights needed I know, anyone have any recommendations?

I don't think it's too big an issue IMO as it's visible to anyone passing the car in the windscreen.

exactly, its easy to fid if you wanted it...

anyway light came on today so filled up for first time since driving it home!

keeping in mind that first 200 ish miles was doing 80mph + on motorway and ive been having fun in it since, im really happy with 480 miles from full to light on! could easily get 500 mmiles in a tank!

you should get more than that, best I have done so far on my dci 80 is 638 (motorway and a little city) miles and then chickened out and filled it up lol.
