my new clio....whats happening???!!

just brought a 1.2 dynamique for my first car yesterday.
cracking car but....
driving to university today, i noticed to car rearing off to the right when i suddenly apply the accelerator.

it happens when the revs are near the torque band about 3-4k rpms in 3rd or 4th, when letting my foot COMPLETELY off the accelerator the steering goes light, when i put my foot back on SUDDENLY, the car rears/pulls to the right even when the steering wheel is centred.....

Ive checked all my tire pressures, their fine.

what could be the trouble?!

sounds like torque steer, the kind i get in the 172, don't even notice any more.

does this happen on 1.2s?

sounds very much like torque stear, but i wouldnt imagine a 1.2 would be able to stick enough power to the wheels for that!
