That's amazing, great buy! The reliability of the engines put me off but a lot of that could be intenet bs?
Yup EJ25, was always the weaker engine compared to the EJ20, but the JDM version is probably better than the one we got.
There are some horror stories out there but this has had some ‘preventive’ work done on it with a head skim, new head gasket and arp head bolts. It’s also had the clutch and cambelt done recently so I’m hoping they’re a few bills that Iwon’t have to worry about.

Fair enough yeah. I was told similar by people/the internet before buying the 335, but with preventative measures and good maintenance, you're fine.
Finished my three day cleaning session today (probably only 8hrs in total but I broke it down).
Washed, rinsed, fall out remover, Clayed, polished and waxed.
Needs a dent man out for a few car park dings but nothing extreme.

Stalling the turbine wheel sounds good but wears the f**k out of thrust bearing and give silly amounts of lag,
Anti lag with ignition cut is what Jims neighbours need/want for those early morning shifts
