Not a fan really, Looks sweet on the punto.

Isnt it illegal when they stick out of the bodywork?

Mybe it will look better slammed.

I looked into this one, my answer is no because they have no sharp edges? MOT with steelies FTW.:)

Dunno, Was just watching an old episode of road wars a while ago, They pulled some car and he said "There illegal arnt they mate" "because theyre sticking out further than the bodywork".

Loving them. Definitely need some serious slammage. I take it there's quite a stretch on those tyres as well, which if the tread is under the arch, is legal I believe they say in the Euro scene.

IMO it looks confused and too much going on. Lose the stickers and turn the yellow details RB and it'd look much better.

Very clean though.

i agree, too much happening

not a fan of the wheels on the rb either, ruin the look of the car, performance car without performance wheels

I love the wheels but there is too much going on with that car. Also need to lower it considerably!

I think the wheels are technically illegal, but then just put the OE rims on for MOTs. No bother.

I saw that too, wasnt it some crap escort driven by a black guy?
If it is the case they'll have to pull half the euro'd v-dubs of the road as most of them have wheels poking out of the arches. Apparently stretched tyres are illegal too.

Saying that I think they look good, I wouldn't bother lowering it looks fine as it is now, it's nice to see something different.

As said, you neeed decide areyou going euro or motorsport look?

Cant you adjust the camber so the tops of the wheels sit inside the arches and there by making them legal? Might be completely wrong but thought thats what the vdub boys do?

Lol, I'm with you on this.

Looks like a cross between a toy car and all the corsa's you see knocking about at the local mcdonalds with the wrong offset wheels they've bought from ebay or ripspeed. Either wants decent motorsport look wheels fitting on it or the stickers removing a huge slamming and the arches flaring to make it look right. Even then I wouldnt be a fan of the wheels tbh.

The rule is that the tyres tread needs to be within the arch IIRC

the wheels themselves look good what offset are they?, did you have any trouble with them catching on the caliper ? What size tyre have you got on them ?

But on the car they just look wrong, IMO you need to lose the stripes and change the liqiud yellow badges to silver

youv'e got the right idea about having wide wheels but i dont think you will be able to slam the rear as your wheel is sticking out to much. It is actually illegal and you can get a PG9 but all depends on your luck and the how bothered the police in the area are. Dont let negative comments put you of as it takes a while to get things 100% just a case of trial and error. I have actually put a set of these 9s on my brothers (storm rider im just using his account) clio, i have flared the rears which is spot on but i also flared the fronts which i am now looking to change, gavs punto is sweet.

I agree with Chris. I like them, but I wouldn't put them on a Cup!

but hey ho, as long as you're happy with them, that's all that matters.

...need slammin' though! ;)

Totally agree, they just dont work well together but thats just my opinion :rasp:

not bad! looks good :D i wanted keskins but their kinda getting popular.. opted the rarer schmidts ;) btw wheres your centres? your brave stepping off the turini band wagon with an RS!!

What tyre profile is that dude?

My mate has just bought a 9" Borbet A, he would like that look on his car i think.

Get it slammed!

Eyup jay its me gav, i think if you dropped it a bit more and removed all the stickers then it would look seriously nice. I didnt notice yesterday but i agree in the pics it does look a bit of a mix of styles and a bit busy.

You decided to keep em then?

Here's more of mine for anyone interested, some of you may remember me :)

thanks :) but i disagree i think they can look amazing if done right.

getting this style right takes a lot of tweaking and adjusting not just a case of slapping the wheels on and your done, i've had my wheels off 5 or 6 times and i'm still not 100% happy with the stance yet.

anyone got pics of that silver euro mk2, think his name was william, that is sweet
