My new Saxo VTS: Two Tone content.

Cheers lads :)

Anyone know the best place to take Citroens to in and around Yorkshire for work?

Usually Bichdown have done eveything for me on the Clios....

Is rickyp-rpm any good, as he's only 30 mins away?

Ricky RPM always worked on mine, I had 2 gearboxes off him fitted @ £200 ish each (including the box)

Absolutely stunning, i remember the exact car in my sax-p days lol, was the car that made me get mine lowered
Keep it that clean mate, not many good ones left :-(

Brilliant mate, always hard to find a specialist when you change manufacturers....

Must admit when I read two tone I was a bit dubious but it looks like a lovely motor :)

Thanks pal!

It's in really good condition considering it's 11 years old lol

I always found SaxP a funny place, it's either clueless chavs or older members who just can't let go of the Saxos, the latter are usually morngy c***s

Agree'd saxp is a funny old place, you tend to find that alot of members on here have had a 106/saxo in the past so know what they're talking about. You need a saxsport exhaust on this dude :)

Lol i was on there for a few years although i wouldnt put myself in either of them 2 stereotypes you mentioned.

magnex is good but a strangled system. Its not a straight through design as far as I am aware, but uses a reduced bore through the silencers to force gases into the silencer wadding. This makes for a quiet system but not so much in performance...

Yeah brakes are on my list mate- cant beleive how cheap parts are for the Saxo's!

GTI 6 brakes might be a good idea? You can pick them up cheap as chips. With OE discs and pads and fresh fluid they were brilliant on my 6 so on a 106 / saxo I imagine they would be awesome.

Agreed, I had the same setup on mine (283mm discs iirc) in a 900kg car works well :D

Looked fit under my speedlines on my ph1:

Not too bad on the vts rims on the ph2 either!

hellaflush ;)

Not too fussed about max performance from the exhaust TBH.

I'm getting on abit now and the quiet (compared to my previous Yozza's) Magnex is perfect for me.

Also not really looking to uprgrade the callipers, it will never see a track and have some new OEM discs and DS2500's lined up already which for my usage will be fine IMO

It isn't Yates' car, no. Craig (180) has Yates' now.

However i'm stumped on which mod you bought this off. I can't think of a mod with a two tone :S

EDIT: Ah, thought you said you got it off a mod on SaxP. Smart car either way.

quite rare in the two tone.

had four saxo's in the past

1. 1.1i with vtr bodykit
2. vtr massive sound system
3. supercharged vts 200bhp
4. supercharged vts track car stripped @252bhp :) - two features :)

Look even better behind Comp MO's. I had 1*2 size DS2500's as well.

Was a tad daft to be honest, could lock it up at 70 - i removed the abs & added a gti6 master cylinder as well.

I was still on the VTS master cyl and still had ABS lol, ABS used to kick in a bit early some times but I've still yet to drive a car that braked as good!

I remember when you showed your VTS on PH, I had mine at the time.
