Well after selling my mint shell to Daz on 106owners so he can make his XSi 16v Van i needed a new track car.

Found this in Wales. 350 miles from me. Brought it home on Sunday. Love it. To top it off it did 47mpg!

Going to make it a bit more track orientated after i fix the broken exhaust.

Dirty after a 350 mile drive

Well since the box has gone bang big style. I'm in two minds what to do with it lol

I've bought a 30k box to fit to it regardless.

Lets be honest Neil. It's going to be a right ball ache lol

I need another STD exhaust too. As this one is rotten to f**k. ATM is got about 300 screw driver holes in it from me poking rust.

Update

This is the last week or so's work. Only been doing an hour or so here and there becuase the bloody thing pisses me off so much. Its like bodge central in that engine bay. Either stuff is rounded, snapped or just not there at all. I've spent the earth at Reno buying new clips etc etc

Moved into my workshop......

As it stands now. Yes it is very unstable as it is lol. Still it makes working on it interesting! Especially when it rocks back and forth when you undo stuff!

The ever expanding clio took kit. Who needs spanners?

LOL the trolly jack was a late addition.

I only had it on the alloy for most of today but got fed up with it rocking back and fourth lol

lol undoing the 3 bolts holding the drive shaft in was great. I was fully under the car and having to bench press it back to its ballance point all the time.
