hi all,

ive been doing alot of thinking and think im gonna use the 172 for work and buy an escort cosworth for fun, ive always wanted one, theyre incredible, some hate them i LOVE them the sound the looks they are truly a classic, ive spoken to a mate whos mate imports high performance cars, and hes told me about a blue cossy in south africa that hes importing in the next few weeks. the guy thats selling wants £14,250 for it, ive got a few grand saved in my ISA and a little loan from cahoot and ill have it, what do you guys think shall i take the plunge and buy it, its only done 28,000miles and its totally mint, im only gonna use it for evenings and weekends and maybe a few trackdays so costs wont be too high, so what do ya think???

any opinions would be great

my mate said to sell the 172 too, but i love that car too, loads of fun, the 172 isnt that expensive to run anyway so ill just use it for work, ive got about a week to think about it so ill make my decision then, i think i know which way its gonna go though

For that price too its worth every penny. You would normally play 4-5k more than that for a similar car over here, but usually with a few more miles on the clock!

Small turbo you can only run upto about 330BHP.

After that you need to change the injection system over to the older weber system and thats a grand!!!!!!!!!
