My Trophy, No. 37

Car  Clio Trophy
Hello had this post rolling on the T forums for a while, thought i would get it up here too

Picked it up March 2013, it had done 94k, had usual steering wheel melt, pebble dashed rear arches, not sure if this is common on high mileage examples? other wise not to bad condition, had been well looked after.

this is how the T looked on the day i picked it up

It came with 6x9's in shelf and sub and amp in the boot, they were 1st on my list to go :D , then i ordered a aluminium footrest and new front bonnet rubber seal, also fitted slivervision indicator bulbs

Then i picked up a new set of Wheels and tyres from someone that was selling their T and had a spare set unused, still in the Renault boxes

Also lucky enough to get hold of a retrimmed steering wheel that another member had done, but had sold the T before he got the steering wheel back :D and repalced the wiper stalk

Fitted a new fuse box under the engine bay as the other had a broken clip, and had a new clutch cable fitted

Deiced to give the rear arches a good glean and coat them with Bilt Hamber UB

Gave my seats a good clean with Raceglaze Alcantara, got rid of some dodgy looking stain on the passenger seat, also fitted a battery cover and sprayed the fuse box lid matt black

Have picked up my bits i had sprayed today, i had the door handles, wing mirror caps and side strips done, will get fitted Mon :), and i have also ordered some Mark Fish Koni for the rear, and will be ringing up for the springs tomorrow :D

yeah nice seats they are, some people put in the half leather ones that have spots on the materiel up the center, really dont like :P

had a busy day :D, removed the side strips and cleaned under them, also repaired the doors where the strips have rubbed, also fitted new wing mirror caps and exterior door handles, also given the air box a freshen up

kinda looks the same height, not had chance to settle yet though, had a quick run along some back roads, does not feel to much harder, feels a bit more responsive through the steering, koni's were set to half way, have given them a quarter turn to hard since :)

Had a quick go at the calipers today, did both the fronts, but got too hot now, so rears can get done next week
