My very first attempt at "proper cleaning"

  Clio 172
Some people may remember my orange peel thread, the paint was dull and had no shine or reflection, and I thought it was down to the orange peel, but it wasn't. Another member recommended a proper compounding polish, and sold me Gtechniq P1, and C3 wax.

Washed it with turtlewax (I know... I have dodo juice on order!) with a wash mitt.

Clay barred
Then used the P1 and C3.

I'm absolutely astounded with the results! It came out soso well!

And comments and criticism, it was a first time and I'm proper happy! The orange peel is still evident, but the shine and reflection is a million times better!

I'll dig some before pictures up after, but here's after. They are quite crap, there on my iPhone sorry!

Looks good mate!

Make sure to pay attention to the edges/corners of panels, gaps etc.

The number plate recess on the first picture has unbuffed polish marks, the second has polish behind the door strips and so on. ;)

Sorry to criticise, just trying to help.

Tyre shine wouldn't go amiss either!
