Italian 3.2 V6
at one point both my xenons wer not working at all! so i had a friend off here come over and look over them (casson182) since looking over them the 1st time the left side one has been working perfectly!. 2nd day he came round he removed the bumper took the actual right hand side light unit out, doing same on his 182 to swap parts around to narrow down the why the light wasnt working. wether it was the xenon ignition unit, the ballast unit or the bulb or fuse. so he replaced the fuse and still nothing workd but when he plugd his whole light unit in it did work, so he ended up swapping all the parts round from his light unit to my light unit to narrow down the see what was actuall not working inlcuding cleaning all the connection pins to make sure the actual connection was ok. So he did this for about an hour or so and still nothing was working but we had narrowed it down to it being the ballast unit that was fooked..... or was it!
because today i gave the car a bloody good clean! inside and out. once i had finished all the cleaning n waxing (3 hours it took!! had the car running for the last 30min) i turned to lights on the left one came on as normal and strangely the right hand side one slowly but surely started to light up and 2 min l8r bingo it was on. now it is still on and working but it flickers ever so slightly and now and again but its working! is this a miracle (save me buying a ballast unit!) i wonder if it stays working!
has any1 else had this happen!?
