Nearly 3 years ago Emma and I done a highlands roadtrip in the old Clio 200 and wanted to do something similar in the Fiesta. So last weekend Emma’s mum was free to watch the wee man Friday and Saturday night so a quick Google maps research of our old route and a couple of phone calls to book the hotels and the planning was done.
The route:
Day 1: Cumbernauld to Invergarry via Lochearnhead, Crainlarich, Clifton, Connel, Lettermore, Fort William & Spean Bridge
Day 2: Invergarry to Thurso via Nostie, Strathcarron, Tornapress, Applecross, Gairloch, Ullapool, Durness & Tongue
Day 3: Thurso to Cumbernauld via John O'Groats & Inverness
Not many pics from Friday’s journey up to Invergarry. Was late and getting dark.
