hey ive just joined this site because ive got a small problem my clio 1.5 engine over heated thanks to the previous owner (ran it out of oil) i took the head off and found half the piston missing on all 4 pistons so ive scaped the engine was non recoverable as all the piston rings where welded to the block ive looked on ebay and found another engine 1.5 clio 100bhp engine the only prob is my clio was a 1.5 62bhp model are the gearboxes compatable ????

Forget using a 100 dci box there rubish they would fit though,

Don't forget 100 dci engine is different so wiring up ins't a straight swop unless you swop other bits.
