ok i darent say it, but i was looking into a neon light.. will accept any answer that calls me achav as its a shame, in fact it doesnt have to be neon just havent any back seats in my cup yet a i spend a lot of time cruising an parking up with the GF to watch DVD`s and chill out away from everyone at night wanted a bit more light in the cabin without that massive yellow`ish.white reading light on, just need something subtle perhaps in the back behind the fron seats like a strip.
should this be easy to do ?? there is a wiring loom looking thing under where the back seats where could i use this ?

Neons wont give off much light, they're really for lighting up closely. If you want a good spread of light, you'll be best getting an led tube or something.

cool, where can you get led tubes from ?

im sure i could change the bulb in the readign ligh but then when i actually do ned it it wont be good enough hmmm..

cool, i can make up the renault sport colours, can you cut these to lengh of are they a standard size, also where could tastefully put these ?

They're standard sizes - 6" being the smallest I believe. Although you may be able to find 3" - 4" after alot of searching as I've never found any. Having the tubes in the footwells is one easy way and under the front seats facing forwards. Will give that 'background' lighting so the tv isn't much strain on the eyes.

For lighting behind, can stick a tube on your parcel shelf and have it aimed at the roof, put a cover behind the tube so it's hidden and can't see it unless you're in the car. Plenty of places really. I've got iceled gems (not cheap) shining through the little holes around the interior light and that works aswell

err.. i bought my car around 2months ago, it ca,e with some cheesy metal floor mats and a blue richbrook taxdisc holder which doenst look too bad and matches the blue of the cup interior. now... it also has a blue screened Sony headunit so i can see the theme they were going for.. the thing is where there are metal mats thee are neons..
noticed these just now ! one on each side under the passenger foot well and driver footwell both have two white wires that go into around the side of each foot well into the area where there are electrics, at first i though the drivers one was a radio antena seen as the unit was aftermarket but there are two ! so im wondering are these lights ??
